Are you an experienced caregiver? We're looking for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics who are passionate about delivering high-quality care, by using your clinical expertise in a new way, within a supportive team environment.
• About the role of a Disability Assessor:*

You'll assess individuals with a range of physical and/or mental health disabilities, in person or by phone, as part of their claim for the Personal Independence Payment scheme. Key responsibilities include:
• Building a rapport with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, including physical, sensory, mental health and cognitive issues.
• Using clinical experience and/or a physical assessment around the claimants daily activities to understand the severity of their conditions and what their limitations are
• Interpreting medical evidence and comprehensively reporting your findings on the conditions presented, to support the decision-making process for the PIP claim.

• Requirements for the role of a Disability Assessor:*

You do not need any experience as a Disability Assessor previously, as an excellent, in-depth training masterclass is provided, but we do require:
• Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist qualification
• 12 months post reg clinical experience minimum
• Full registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on pin
• Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent relationship building skills - empathy, active listening.
